History
In 1989, Jim Crockett opened a full service interconnect company, Telecom Support Services or TSS, specializing in installing and servicing high quality business telephone and voice mail systems at competitive prices.
Jon Beall founded Telephone Distributors, Inc., TDI, in 1982 with a similar commitment to bringing customers the best quality and value in business communications equipment and service.
In 1995, a cooperative agreement between Jon and Jim brought TDI and TSS together, combining the strengths of both companies. The expanded base of customers benefited from wider selection in products and support and from exceptional technical expertise.
In 2005, Jim partnered with Laurie Adams to form Crockett Communications. Laurie originally joined TDI in 1998 bringing new focus on account development through in-house product demonstration and customer training.
With the purchase of TDI, Crockett Communications, Inc is dedicated to preserving the fundamental values that characterized the business and operations of TDI for almost 25 years.
