The Summit and Wave Unified Communications Systems from Vertical Communications round out our product portfolio with unique tools to give your business communications a meaningful makeover.
Wave IP
Wave IP is an Enterprise-class business phone system. With the Wave single user licensing model, you get all the Wave system applications for every user, at no additional cost. This includes the award winning ViewPoint desktop GUI (think of ViewPoint like MS Outlook for your phone) , the integrated ViewPoint Soft Phone and ViewPoint Mobile App.
Industry verticals such as retail and automotive appreciate the dynamic mobility and also the real simplicity of Wave IP solutions. Traditional phone systems used to be mostly a buy-it-then-forget-it proposition, but Wave’s integration across computers, endpoints (yes, they’re not really called telephones anymore), and smart devices plus the option for VoIP means that acquiring Wave IP can potentially give you an appealing payoff both in time (time is, as they say, money), and actual recurring expense for service and administration.
Companies with legacy Comdial and Vodavi systems have the option of migrating their supported phones to the new Wave platform, a huge value. Plus, the Edge Digital phones, Bluetooth option, Edge 5000 IP phones, Polycom, and Vertical DECT Cordless supply form and functionality for any context – conference rooms, remote telecommuters, and people on the move such as IT staff. And Wave Fax Manager enables the reception of faxes into the Wave system and then distributes them to e-mail accounts in a .TIFF format.
Summit
As with their other products, Vertical’s development partner for Summit is Ericcson-LG. Summit rolls out a striking collection of features and applications for businesses with 5 to 50 users, though it can grow to over 100 stations.
Summit sports a nice set of supported endpoints including digital, IP, third party SIP, DECT and WiFi, plus the Phontage PC Softphone.
